USER RESEARCH

In the past few years the world has seen a drastic shift in experience preferences where online participation has become just as acceptable as it is to go in person given its convenience and efficiency. The world also noticed a shift in spending patterns after the onset of the pandemic where people started reducing investment expenditures. Now as economies try to restart their cycle, new products are being built to support a combination of online as well as offline activities.

This case study stems from the need to rekindle the art industry by supporting artists, finding new ways to purchase art and enhance the experience of art consumption. On View is a digital platform which enable the user to explore established and upcoming artists’ works, participate in online art auctions, understand market trends to make informed decisions, participate in gallery walk throughs and even experience the art through augmented reality.
